In short, the gentlemen at this office are courteous and helpful when possible, but evidently have trouble communicating with customers and one another - to the customer's detriment.
While initially pleased with the price of my policy and the level of service I received from the agents at this office, it quickly soured. I received notice that my policy had to be rewritten only two months into my service, and was then told the policy had to be canceled for various reasons - all of which Jeffrey himself had been made aware of upon opening the policy and presented no legitimate reason for its cancellation. Furthermore, it was difficult to get a response at the office, even with assistance from the after-hours number, and most of the information I provided in my application had somehow vanished from their records - everything from my contact information to my driver's license number.
I'm not giving this State Farm office one star because my policy was closed but because I was given misinformation and there was a serious lack of communication between agents. It was a frustrating experience. It felt like Dwayne, the agent I spoke with, just didn't want to be bothered rewriting the policy. I'll be happy to take my business to another insurance agency.
I called Jeffery Branum Insurance to start up a motorcycle insurance policy. Jeff was professional and actually had been one of the easiest insurance agents to deal with out here in Corbin KY, and I think Ill use him again in the future so long as the service is as good as its been. I am happy and my wallet is also happy.
